Matthew Idler grew up on a ranch in southeastern Wyoming, raising livestock, farming, showing cattle, roping, and running a family ranch. Ranching and farming were a big part of his life at one point, and he uses this knowledge and passion for the west in his photography. Matthew attended Northwest Community College in Powell, Wyoming, and received his Associates in Photographic Communications.
